No i doubt your dumb lol! There are some things I think it doesn't do i.e. record your computer screen for tutorials, record some online games (I can't get it to record Pokemon Showdown for example) etc. Luckily it works for all the games I play at the moment but you never know!

like Tomba said, it just is outdated. Then I tried DXtory and I was quite happy with it (you have to buy it, i think about $40, cannot remember) and worked quite well for a while, however I left that it was not giving me enough flexibility and it was somewhat difficult to use. CamStudio is free but again, not as much flexibility and capability as OBS. Now I use OBS Studio which works wonderfully, you can really do anything and if you do not know how, there are plenty of videos out there that really help out a lot. I still have not found a way to fully maximise the quality of my recording, but it takes some tutorials and some of your own adjustments and trial and error. I have not tried shadowplay so I am not too sure, but I would stick to OBS Studio!!
