If you make sure the banner is 970px wide and 150px in height you shouldnt have any issues.

well my banner is larger because it also contains the background... the sides of the channel.

Crop just the banner to 970px and upload that to maschek

With image map code included? I dont know any site that offers those with that, plus the new channel layout will be on everyones channels soon enough making any backgrounds/code for the old layout unusable
