They won't. It will be optional for the next couple weeks or so, and then they will force everyone to switch over. It's actually a really good layout. Everyone who seemed to not like it previously seem to like it now.

Nah, I still don't like it. And who knows? They could change there mind, there's a petition with about 12,000 signatures and the YouTube video introducing OneChannel is not exactly receiving good criticism either. :L

They will not change it back. That would be a an extremely bad move on YouTube's part. The petition was a waste of time, YouTube was going to change the layout no matter if 500,000 people signed it. Accept change, and make the best of it.
