So I was considering setting up an experiment, seeing if I could run a Truman show style stream.
Obviously setting up a camera in my room is simple enough, and I'd just have to keep the computer running eternally and hope it didn't burn out.
The problem would be making it portable. From what I can see most portable cameras that can stream have very limited battery life, and also are difficult to conceal. (A concealed camera would be ideal because then I don't have to explain to every single person I see what it's for)
It would be passable if I was only leaving the house for an hour or so at a time but that won't be the case.
The other problem would be switching to the portable camera without taking the stream down on the computer and then rebooting it on the camera. Anyone know of a way to tie a portable camera into a program like OBS?
What do you guys think of this? Would people watch? How hard/ expensive would it be to get the gear to make this work?
